Ingredients:
- Asparagus – 500 g
- Olive or sesame oil – 100 g
- Garlic/salt/pepper
- Salmon roe – 150 g
Cooking Steps:
- Prepare the asparagus by trimming off the woody ends of the stems.
- Place the asparagus in a steamer and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the stems.
- In the meantime, heat the olive or sesame oil in a small frying pan to prepare the sauce.
- Add minced garlic to the pan with the oil and sauté it until it turns golden brown over medium heat.
- When the asparagus is almost ready, add it to the frying pan with the garlic oil. Simmer the asparagus with the garlic for about another minute, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Divide the prepared asparagus onto plates in portions.
- Add a tablespoon of salmon roe to each serving.
- Serve the steamed asparagus with salmon roe warm and enjoy its delicate and rich flavor.
